Eligibility Criteria For Admission To MBA Programme


 

In order to secure admission to two-year full time MBA/MMM course, the candidate should fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

 
     
 
  • Passed with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.
 

OR

 

Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree exam with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharastra State only).

 

OR

 

Passed with any Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities AND Appeared for the final year examination of any post Graduate degree of minimum two years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the Post Graduate Degree exam with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharastra State only).

   
 

1.2. Eligibility Criteria for admission to Maharashtra State Candidates (Type A-E)
     (Refer rule for the definition of Type of candidature for Maharashtra State candidates)

  1. Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification as specified in rule no.1.1
  2. Appeared for the Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2009), GD & PI conducted by the Competent Authority of the Maharashtra State for the academic year 2009-2010.
   
 

1.3. Eligibility Criteria for admission against ALL India Seats:
               (for Maharshtra State Candidates)

  1. Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification as specified in rule no.1.1
  2. Appeared for CAT(conducted by IIMs)/JMET(conducted by IITs)/MAT(conducted by AIMA in February 2009)/ ATMA(conducted by AIMS)/XAT(conducted by XLRI) for seeking admission to MBA/MMS in the academic year 2009-2010. Such candidates are required to appear for GD & PI conducted by the Competent Authority of the Maharashtra State for the academic year 2009-2010.
   
 

1.4. For Outside Maharshtra State OMS Candidates
          (Refer rule for the definition of Outside Maharashtra State candidates)

  1. Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification as specified in rule no.1.1
  2. Appeared for CAT(conducted by IIMs)/JMET(conducted by IITs)/MAT(conducted by AIMA in February 2009)/ ATMA(conducted by AIMS)/XAT(conducted by XLRI) for seeking admission to MBA/MMS in the academic year 2009-2010. Such candidates are required to appear for GD & PI conducted by the Competent Authority of the Maharashtra State for the academic year 2009-2010
